Nangere is a Local Government Area in Yobe State, Nigeria. It has its headquarters in the town of Sabon Garin Nangere (or Sabon Garin; 11°51′53″N 11°04′16″E).

Nangere LGA occupies a total area of 980 square kilometres and has an average temperature of 34 °C.

It has a total population of 87,823 at the 2006 census.
